Naihati New Life Society operates three Contact Points in vulnerable communities to identify, protect, and support children who are at risk of neglect, exploitation, child labour, substance abuse, begging, or school dropout. Through regular outreach activities, our Outreach Workers conduct surveys and visits to slums, railway stations, marketplaces, and other vulnerable locations to identify children in need of care and protection.
Children identified through these outreach activities are encouraged to attend our Contact Points, where they receive non-formal education, counselling, life-skills education, recreational activities, and individual care in a safe and child-friendly environment. Special emphasis is placed on motivating out-of-school children to return to mainstream education, strengthening family support wherever possible, and preparing young children for formal schooling through school readiness activities.
Many of the children we reach have never experienced the joy of a classroom, a nutritious meal, or the security of a caring environment. Through our Contact Points, we strive to replace begging with learning, despair with hope, and vulnerability with opportunity.
Your support can help us provide education, nutritious meals, counselling, learning materials, and a safe space for children who need it most. Together, we can rescue children from the streets, prepare them for school, and give them the opportunity to build a brighter future. Donate today and become a partner in transforming young lives.
