Sanjhbati – Residential Old Age Home (Dream Project)
Sanjhbati is the dream project of Naihati New Life Society, envisioned as a compassionate residential home for abandoned, neglected, and destitute senior citizens who have no family support or means of care. The Society believes that every elderly person deserves to spend the later years of life with dignity, security, love, and respect, regardless of their financial or social circumstances.
The proposed Old Age Home will provide safe accommodation, nutritious meals, comprehensive healthcare, nursing care, physiotherapy, counselling, recreational activities, and emotional support in a warm and family-like environment. The project will also promote active and healthy ageing through social engagement, cultural programmes, spiritual activities, skill-based hobbies, and opportunities for community interaction, ensuring that residents remain physically active, emotionally connected, and socially included.
